Thinking up fun date ideas to do can often feel like a difficult task as our minds can go a little blank. Really though with a little creative planning we can find many fun date ideas that can either be relaxing or energetic. Trying to get a feel for what the other person likes is a great idea but this cannot always be done if its a first date. In the first date instance you just have to choose a fun date that isn’t too crazy or out there, as you don’t know much about your date at this stage. When it comes to second or third dates you’ll know more about the other person so you can get more creative with those fun date ideas.
Relaxing and casual Fun date ideas can involve heading to a coffee shop or cafe simply a walk in the park or on the beach. If you want to be more adventurous and energetic then try going mountain biking in the hills or white water rafting could be more to your taste. As previously said though take into consideration the other person and try to get a feel if they would rather take it easy and just have a coffee, or head off to a big amusement park for the afternoon.
Daytime fun date ideas can differ a lot to night time dates but the same principles apply. Keeping things casual and relaxed tends to be a good idea as its take the pressure off especially if its a first date. People often car for either the bar or restaurant but having that first meet up in a bar can be less intense for the first date. Try and find a bar with a comedy night on or something with atmosphere as this reduces the need for creating all the conversation whilst still having a great time. Whatever you choose, fun date ideas are all around you just have to seek them out.

Fun Dates Last Minute
In todays crazy busy world most of us run around all week juggling work, family and friends and also playing the dating game. With so much going on and time being limited we can find ourselves with a date tomorrow night and we don’t have a clue of where to go and what to do. Thinking up really fun dates last minute can be real challenge for anybody. Guys in particular find themselves in this position as we generally leave organising most things until the very last minute, and dating is often no exception. If its a day time date there’s pretty much always places to go and things to see. Whether it be grabbing some coffee then hitting a museum or gallery if your keeping things intellectual. If your being big kids heading to the fairground or amusement park or anything that provides entertainment whilst you both get to know each other.
If your heading on a first date and its becomes very obvious you’ve not planned anything this could make your date feel pretty un special so we need to avoid this at all costs. Sometimes it can work in your favour as it did with a friend of mine who forgot to book a restaurant until the same day as the date so he couldn’t get in anywhere he wanted. So he decided to pick the girl up first before then explaining what happened. Long story short they ended up in a karaoke bar eating free chicken wings and drinking fishbowl cocktails two at a time before ultimately doing a duet of “Don’t go breakin my heart”. They’ve been together for three years now so I guess sometimes a lack of planning and some spontaneity can really pay off.
Now I’m not saying this would work with every date night as for some that night would have been a complete disaster. The point is that most people are more drawn to fun date ideas and freedom they bring than something thats formal and expensive. Dont get me wrong its nice to do the very best restaurants and order the best wine or champagne. Ultimately though you find out how really compatible you are with someone when you do the simple things like just heading to the beach or taken a walk in a city park. It’s in these situations that two people will be themselves much more and just relax and enjoy each others company.
What are some fun date ideas?
I am running out of fun ideas for my boyfriend and I. We have been to movies and all the norm. I want to do something more interesting and fun because it’s summer time. A little information to help.We are both active people, we like theater and music. Also he is allergic to the cold. I know being allergic to the cold sounds ridiculous and unreal it’s true. Also money isn’t that big of a deal. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
Right now is a great time to go to those U-Pick farms and get strawberries, blackberries, or raspberries. You could also make custom t-shirts or a custom paint-by-numbers together. Maybe go sailing or just play frisbee golf or fly a kite at the beach?
What are some cheap fun date ideas?
Does anyone have any cheap fun date ideas? Anything would be good eh. Im going on the very original lunch and movie date on saturday, but I want some ideas for other dates… I was thinking of drive in movies… Would a guy like that kinda thing?
1. a cheap & healthy date would be for you to invite him jogging ![]()
2. do volunteer work together
3. go to the beach/park with a picnic
4. have a coffee somewhere and talk/people watch
5. chill at home listening to music or watching a dvd
6.if you have a car – take a sightseeing trip / can also go by bus/train/ferry

Some fun date ideas with other friends and their boyfriends?
Well im grounded for a while cause of my grades, my dads not really happy and im going to be grounded for part of the summer. Anyways… my boyfriend and friend and her boyfriend are coming over tomorrow to hangout at my place[my dad wont let me leave] so i want to know what are some fun ideas of what we could do at my house. its too cold to swim in my pool :[ wisconsin sucks! haha.
I would play some type of game(s) that would involve each couple to work as a team. Find out which couple is the "best" haha.
This could be a board game, a sport like basketball (if you have a goal), or just whatever you can think of (eating contest for example haha…I wouldn’t do that one btw…..just be creative)
The two of you working together could help with the relationship

what are fun date ideas for married couples?
my husband and i are ttc after a miscarriage so we are trying to get our mind off of things by going out and having a good time.
lately though, we’ve been stuck in a rut between going to dinner and the movies.
what are some fun date ideas we could do together.
thanks for any advice!
Bowling is fun, so is mini golf. Search your area for oddball attractions- we have both a mustard museum and a honey manufacturer tour near us. Tour a winery or brewery, find a museum or a zoo, a farmer’s market or a craft fair. Watch your local paper for special events like fireman’s picnics or bingo. Find local venues where starter bands are playing. Take a class together, like dancing or photography. Have other couples over for potluck and card/board games.
YOU make the date fun, it doesn’t matter what you’re doing!
